2. About the Results (Back to Top)
This line indicates how many product listings are relevant to the words for which you searched. It also indicates which of those products are listed on this page. For example:
"1 to 10 of 3,172 sponsored matches for television"
- "1 to 10" indicates that this page is displaying the first ten listings that are relevant to the words for which you searched.
- "1,559,372" is the estimated number of product listings that are relevant to the words for which you searched.
- "televisions" is the word for which you searched
3. Search Suggestions (Back to Top)
As you type your search, the “Search Suggestions” section underneath the search box will dynamically update with suggestions based on our technology’s understanding of research-related content available on the web. Click on any of the suggestions to see Become’s results for that search term. Similar suggestions will appear at the bottom of the results page.
Note: For some search terms, it may not be possible to make suggestions—in these cases, the “Search Suggestions” section will not appear.
4. Product Listings (Back to Top)
Become.com provides relevant product listings based upon the words in your search. Information on these products is provided by merchants who submit a data feed of the items that they offer online. Become.com is compensated by merchants for these listings based upon the number of times that users decide to visit these merchants from the Become.com site.
A closer look at each result.
For each product listing that we find, we display a picture, product name, and description. If we found only a single store for the item, we display the price and a link to the store. If we found multiple stores for the item, we display the range of prices and a link that allows you to view a list of stores and their prices for the item.
User ratings (on a scale from 1 to 5 stars) are summaries of user ratings provided by Amazon.com. User ratings are not available for all products. Clicking on the star user ratings will take you to more information about these user ratings on the amazon.com site.
We also provide a “Research” link to help you perform more research on this product. When you click on this link, we will look for research information related to this product. We will perform a new Research search for you and display relevant search results while continuing to show you a picture of the product.
5. Sorting Options (Back to Top)
Product listings shown on Become.com are generally sorted by Best Match. Best Match is determined by using a combination of rating factors including: relevancy to the words typed in the search box, popularity of the product among Become.com’s users, and the amount the merchant has bid for a click on the product. Above the product listings are a set of links that allow you to resort the listings based upon price. Clicking on Low to High will reorder the results to show the least costly products first, while High to Low will show the most expensive products first.
6. Filtering Options (Back to Top)
When many products are relevant to your search, we give you the opportunity to limit the results shown to specific price ranges, brands, and categories. These filtering options appear on the right hand side of the page. To select just one filter, just click on the link for a given range (e.g. $30.00 - $50.00). To limit the results using several filters at once, click on the check boxes next to the price ranges, brands, and categories that you require. Once these boxed are checked, click on “find products” to update the product results.
7. My Favorites (Back to Top)
When you find a product that you would like to save for further research or comparison, you can click on the “Add to Favorites” link below the product listing. When you click on this link, the specific product will be placed in a workspace near the top of the page. This product will then stay with you in your workspace throughout your research and shopping experience on Become.com.
If you want to keep your favorites stored but would like to keep them out of sight while you continue, you can click on the “hide” link at the upper right of your workspace. If your favorites are hidden, you can click on the “show” link to view all the favorites that you have stored. Individual products can be removed from your workspace by clicking on the black [X] next to any product. You can also click on the “remove all” link at any time to permanently clear all the favorites you have stored.
Saving favorites can help you keep a picture of the product with you while you look for other items. You can click the “Research” link below each favorite to find further information on the product. You can also click links below the stored favorite product to take you to the seller (if there is only one seller) or compare prices from various merchants (if there are multiple sellers). Your favorites will remain in your workspace on subsequent visits to Become.com from the same computer you used previously. This is designed to help you continue your research and shopping experience across several visits to our site. To clear favorites completely, remember that you can click on “remove all” at any time.

Sponsored links are provided by a third-party provider.
Note: In some cases, there are no relevant sponsored links. In these cases, this section will not appear.

At the bottom of each page, we give you the option to "Rate this search". We are doing everything we can to build the world's best shopping search engine, but we need your help. Once you rate a search, you will also be given the opportunity to provide additional feedback. We would love to hear from you.
